The Cook's: July 2014

This view is one of my favorites (those Wellsville Mountain ranges will always be #1 though). I love the beach - I love the sound of the waves crashing on the shore - I love looking out and only seeing water and sky - I love the constant breeze - and I love the relaxation the beach provides. The beach will always mean vacation to me.

For decades the crowd I call mine has gone to Garden City for vacay. Those adults have spoiled us youngin's (somewhat adults now) rotten.

Our clan has lots of birthdays in Aprilish - July - and Sept/Oct. We always do our July family birthday party at the beach.

When it comes to our beach trip - we mostly beach it - eat dinner - hang out. It is simply delightful. My family usually doesn't go anywhere - I love it. This year our beach house added in a pool. I wasn't sure how I felt about it but it was wonderful. We went to the beach in the morning and after lunch we would head to the pool.

These next two pictures are of Eason and Mackay. I love it - Mackay enjoyed knocking down the little castles that Brittany and Eason built for him.

Seth and I had a great time spending the week with little man. He LOVED the beach - the pool - being outside - his Pop.

I requested to see a sunrise this year. It was gorgeous - the pink tints before the sun rose turned into orange/yellow beauty when the sun came up.

This one is my favorite.

Of course we had to take one of ourselves.

I tried to have my camera around at all times - to the dismay of some folks - but hey we got lots of fun family pictures.

Mackay had fun playing with Uncle Seth. Seth likes to teach Mackay what things are - birds, trees, cars, boats, etc. As long Uncle Seth kept Mackay outside - he had a ball.

We took family photos - Since we are a classy bunch we decided it'd be a pick your own outfit. Dad comes out with a T which is a okay for the Sineath clan :). Family photos with a toddler isn't a simple task.

During the beginning of our session - the neighbor (who lives in Garden City permanently) of the house we rent has a pretty yard and dock. Victra decided she would ask our neighbor if we could use her yard/dock to take our family pictures. The gentlemen were not happy campers about this. I think it was actually Brittany's suggestion :).
