Fun Day Off.

Yesterday, I had the day off-due to helping out and taking a Saturday shift.   Although I wasn't looking much forward to working on a Saturday evening, it was very nice to have a random weekday off.

I was able to sleep in til a whopping 6:07 :).  I'm not sure if you may know, but I have a preference on our alarm clock times.  Oddly enough I like to wake up on odd minutes within the hour.  Normally we wake up at 5:03 every morning-unless it is the weekend and we let the sun wake us up.  Not sure why I do this-but I do and will continue doing this.

I made my man Scones (a recipe that Emily gave me-they are scrumptious!).  After breakfast he headed out to work, and I took myself to a local coffee shop to have a mocha frapp, write in my journal, and read some of my books.  Oh, how I enjoyed just relaxing in that environment and doing what I wanted.  It was just dang fun.  After finishing my frapp, I so wanted to go to the DI for book shopping-but I didn't because we already are overflowing with books.  :). When I came home it was a little after noon, so I thought I would surprise Seth with me and a picnic!  It was such a beautiful day yesterday, and when sitting in the shade it wasn't too bad heat wise.  Turkey sandwich for Seth, PB&J for me, pickles, applesauce, and a soda :)-Yummmmm.  Here are a few pics from my relaxing day yesterday.

My Pretty Flowers Seth got me :).  These daisies will always make me happy!

Seth went to Salt Lake today for 3 interviews.  Luckily, he was able to knock down 3 in the same area so he didn't have to go back and forth 3 times-but it is an all day thing for him.  So far two have gone well, and he is currently in the final interview now.  Although he enjoys the interviews-the transcribing is the stinkiest and most time-consuming part.  He spent over an hour and half and was only able to get into the first ten minutes of one interview-the poor fella has 4 more after that one now!

Well that is all I have for the moment!  :).
