I can't think of a better way to wake up than by the sun shining into my room, birds chirping beautifully, and next to an adorably handsome fella. Yuck-I know but it is true :). Seth and I get pretty excited when we can go to bed without setting an alarm. We are also pretty lucky to be on the same page when it comes to waking up--stirring around the same time.
Well after being awakened perfectly we decided to get ready and go picking through folk's yard sales. Didn't find much-just a few books (we will literally qualify for a full-blown library soon--I feel slightly bad, but we don't spend more than a dollar for brand new books--we will start renting them out and only charge a small minimal fee!) We walked around the farmer's market for a little while. They had a band that was rather interesting and loud and lots of fun crafts to look at. Not much veggies and fruit yet-but hopefully soon. After the farmer's market we went to the library to rent books we didn't have. I got a few and Seth wanted some golfing books-so we rented a book on putting methods :).
We decided to go to the driving range and let Seth hit balls while I read and worked on my tan :). 26 days until we am in the South and 28 until we are at the BEACH with my family! So exciting! I got some beautiful pictures while Seth was hitting balls and putting.
A view while driving balls.
Seth doing his thing :).
How beautiful this is.
Had to take one of me too :)
After doing the whole golf deal-we returned a movie and HAD to stop by a snow cone place. It has been in the 70's today-gorgeous and beautiful and every other pretty word you can think of :). No humidity and just how life should be! It took me back to the Clinton Snow Cone place where my brother and I would always get Tiger's Blood snow cones :). I don't remember what Mom would get-and I can only imagine that My Daddy would get Banana because that is his all time favorite. I miss that Daddy of mine-he is a good good man.
While I was snapping away all these pictures I figured I had to get a picture of the snow cones we so enjoyed. Mine is the red one and Seth got Pina Colada-he has been on this coconut deal recently-both were very yummy and so refreshing :).
We came home to lay out in the sun-as I've already mentioned I'm working on my tan so I can be darker than my cousin Olivia :). We skyped with Seth's LITTLE brother-that is taller and more muscular than Seth :)-I think Seth is starting to realize this is truth that he can't deny-and his girlfriend Karla. Nice to see them! We are now going to prepare our din din and enjoy the rest of our Saturday.
Sorry this isn't much of an informative life blog-but we have had such a good rejuvenating day that I just wanted to share. very, Very, VERY excited (you see how I worked my way up to exploding in my VERY's :)!!!) to see Seth's wonderful parents next weekend. Seth and I are just giddy (yes Seth too) about seeing them and having them here with us! We keep making little remarks to each other about them coming and how fun it will be! :).
Happy weekend everyone :). We are having Pork Chops tonight-and Again thinking of my buddy Laurie.
The Cook's :)
