June.

I've been thinking of a few fun things lately and thought I would pay a tribute in a little blog.

June :).  What a wonderful month this has been in Logan.  It has been gorgeous-and I have been using the hound out of our picnic blanket-sitting outside and soaking up the sun-reading and studying books-and working on my tannnn!  Perfect shorts-short sleeve and no humidity weather.  Ahhh- South Carolina the tables are FINALLY turning for ya'll to be jealous of Utah :).

June :).  My good buddy Laurie and her very handsome husband Joseph will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary on June 19.  Very excited for them!  You go guys!  Thanks to Laurie for introducing Porkchops and Applesauce.  I can now no longer eat Porkchops without applesauce.  I think of you often when I eat the two.  Poor Seth can't seem to stomach the thought of mixing the two-but he will eat them separately.

June :).  Seth and I will be celebrating our 10 month anniversary of marital bliss. I'm sure Seth is planning something very elaborate in order to celebrate this! Kidding.

June :).  Seth's brother was born during this month-Whoop!  My good friend Ashley was born during this month as well-Whoop!

June :).  Seth's parents are coming out to visit us during Father's day and a few days after.  Looking forward to seeing them.  They will get here just in time to celebrate our wonderful weather!  :).

June 5 means that Seth and I have 32 days until we head home to good ol South Carolina and 34 days until we are at the good ol beach with my fabulous family :).  I think there is now an official countdown to this.

Above are pictures of our picnic blanket that we've been using.  Seth's crafty mother made it for us for a wedding shower.  It has been very handy and we have enjoyed it.  She also made the green bag that I have my load of books in on the left there.  Again-a very crafty lady :).

Seth and I don't have room for a garden/plot around our apt.  We also didn't rent a plot like we thought since the weather is just ridiculously unpredictable here and we thought it may end up being more pricey-so we decided to just try some herbs out.  We have basil, cilantro, and rosemary.  We've used them all so far and it has been fun to try it out (even though we just planted a plant instead of seeds).  We are looking forward to the day when we are in our own home with a yard where we can plant a garden.  I'm looking forward to coming home and tasting all my daddy's garden goodies :).

Seth and a buddy went and played golf yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.  Me and the buddy's wife (my buddy) went with them to walk the greens, chit-chat, and get our exercise.  It was absolutely beautiful views and I wish I would have taken my camera.  I plan to go again and take my camera-it was breath-taking.  Anywho-we had fun-got our exercise and some sun--and went out to dinner afterwards.  We ate at a Indian restaurant that was also just plain ol delicious.  Yummmmm. :).  Good Saturday evening!

Well that is about all I got for you folks.  Hope everyone has a good week!

The Cook's :).
